That's a wrap from Learning with horses!
For the past 6 weeks 8 pupils in key stage 3+ have participated in the Learning with Horses program lead by Sheila at Laurel View Equestrian Centre. Pupils have enjoyed learning all about the horses, how to take care of them by grooming and mucking out stables as well as riding and leading skills. It's been an amazing experience which has not only allowed the pupils to develop their knowledge and practical skills in this area but their self-confidence too. We even got a chance to meet some of the centres other animals like cats, pigs, lambs and goats which was a bonus, not to forget a visit from a special man on the last week! A huge thank you to all the staff at Laurel view ( Sheila, Kirstyn, Angela, Linda and Robert) for their kindness and patience which made our experience so special.
