Rosstulla on the Telly!
Rosstulla School has been fortunate enough to be one of only 200 schools across the whole of Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and the rest of the Commonwealth to design a flag to be carried in the Jubilee Pageant on Sunday 5th June.
Students in 9/10W worked with an artist (Conor McGinley) on a project called River of Hope. Our aim was to produce a collage on our local river and link it to pollution. This will then be carried as part of the Royal Pageant through the streets of London.
The Pageant itself will be televised on the BBC between 2-5pm.
Once the flag has been used it will be stored and is then going to be displayed at the National Maritime Museum in September and October. It will then be given to Rosstulla to keep.
If you head to this link www.riverofhope.co.uk you'll be able to check out our flag and those from the other schools involved.
Have a lovely Jubilee Bank Holiday
